Viability Assessment.

Before implementation, Power Marsden must undergo a rigorous viability assessment and options appraisal to ensure that our chosen energy solutions are technically, financially, and environmentally feasible.

Assessing Potential Energy Solutions – Evaluating hydro, solar, and wind energy to determine which technologies best suit Marsden’s geography, community needs, and funding opportunities.

Technical Feasibility Studies – Conducting site-specific assessments, grid connection studies, and environmental impact analyses to identify the most efficient and sustainable solutions.

Financial Modelling & Funding Alignment – Estimating capital costs, projected returns, and long-term economic benefits to ensure the project is financially viable and attractive to investors.

Environmental & Community Impact – Ensuring that all proposed options align with Marsden’s heritage, ecology, and local priorities, while delivering meaningful benefits to residents.

Risk & Constraints Analysis – Identifying barriers such as planning permissions, landownership issues, and infrastructure challenges, and developing mitigation strategies.

At the end of this stage, we will have a data-backed, evidence-driven plan that outlines the best-fit energy solution, allowing us to move confidently into project delivery.
